I was a part of the longest running Pilipinx literary magazine in the United States, {m}aganda magazine, founded in 1989 at the University of California, Berkeley. I was a member of the publication between 2017-2021. I was the Lead Illustrator, Concept Artist, and a Layout Editor for the 33rd issue, published in 2020. I was the Layout Editor and Lead Illustrator for the 34th issue, published in 2021.
A small business owned by my cousin, a designer passionate about creating and sharing cherished family keepsakes and home decor. I have helped to develop effective listings by drafting refreshing descriptions and producing thorough tag lists for increased potential client visibility. My organizational skills and creativity have grown through this experience, as I built an extensive spreadsheet targeting relevant search trends and ways to grow the brand by introducing new product ideas.
A small venture into the world of collectible cards that I started with my brother and my cousin. I have applied a multitude of my design and organizational skills throughout the cultivation of the brand, through performing tasks like creating a detailed inventory database, designing the logo and banners, writing descriptions for publication, and editing videos.
