Anjelica Ramos

Hello,

Untitled.png

I’m Anjelica! I currently work as an ML Data Linguist at AWS (Amazon Web Services)—specifically for Amazon Kendra, an intelligent search service.

I am also a (relatively) recent graduate of UC Berkeley with a degree in Linguistics and Integrative Biology from the College of Letters and Sciences. As a researcher, my primary interests are in the linguistic subfields of phonology and phonetics (with an additional love for syntax and semantics), though I am also interested in delving into the intricate connections between biology and linguistics. I believe that a comparative viewpoint is necessary for researching topics like predictive health, cognitive development, and language acquisition. However, I am happily interested in learning about anything and everything there is to know about the world.

Here is my CV. (Updated September 2021)

Here is my resume. (Updated June 2021)

When I am not working or pursuing research, I am also interested in reading, writing, digital illustration, and documenting the misadventures of my friends.

Feel free to contact me through any of the links listed at the bottom of the page.
